Butyl Waterproof Repair Tape

Self-amalgamating butyl sealing tape, 5m roll, 10cm wide. Sticks to metal, plastic, felt and most things a leak happens near, and stays stuck wet or dry.

Why we picked it: every van should carry a leak answer. When there's water tracking toward an outside DB, a temporary seal today beats a roofer next Tuesday — and butyl tape is the difference between "made it safe and dry" and "put a bucket under it".

Honest limits: this is a repair and prevention consumable, not a substitute for proper glands, grommets or a roofer. Surface prep matters: it sticks brilliantly to clean and dry, and like everything else, badly to moss. It is not an electrical insulation product and must never be used as one.
