Why we picked it: van racking always runs out of shelf before it runs out of wall. Magnetic storage uses the vertical you're not using, and unlike hooks, it doesn't care what shape the tool is.
Honest limits: magnets hold in shear better than in peel — fine for spanners laid flat, wrong for prying anything off in a hurry. Don't mount it over the driver's seat headroom, for reasons you can imagine at the first speed bump.
